Why You provides educational content based on publicly available psychological research. It is not a licensed mental health service and the company is not a healthcare provider.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Why People Believe and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — this app or its content, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Why You offers optional premium subscriptions that unlock additional content and features.
To cancel your subscription, go to Profile → Manage Subscription or contact us at hello@whypeoplebelieve.com.
Content you create in Why You — including journal entries, reflections, and responses — belongs to you. Because all data is stored locally on your device, Why You does not access, store, or use your personal content on our servers.
You are responsible for backing up any content you wish to preserve. Clearing your browser data or uninstalling the app will permanently delete your local data.
All content provided by Why You — including lesson text, assessments, graphics, and program structure — is owned by Why People Believe and protected by copyright. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any app content without written permission.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue Why You (or any part of it) at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes to these terms by updating the “Last updated” date above.
Continued use of the app after changes to these terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the app shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
